(1922-2010) was a dedicated railfan, model railroader and author. His photographs are from the 1880's - 1990's. This collection consists of 24,797 images in 254 galleries.
Ernie Robart
(1947-2018) was an avid railfan and photographer. He was instrumental in saving the part of the D&RGW railroad that was to become the C&TS railroad. As of spring 2019, the Friends received Ernie's photo collection with approximately 50,000 photos of which 20,000 may be narrow gauge. We have start putting the narrow-gauge photos on the WEB and as of Nov 2021 we have almost 4,800 images in 7 galleries with a separate gallery for each year.
Andy Payne
(1925-2012) was an engineer working out of Durango on the D&RGW. His images are from 1954-1978. This collection consists of 2270 images in 9 galleries.

(b. 1937) has photographs taken in 1960-2003 of the D&RGW, C&TS and D&SNG railroads. This collection consists of 845 images in 7 galleries.

Russell Sperry
(b. 1941) has images of the D&RGW narrow gauge operations in the 1960's including the last freights over Cumbres Pass in August 1968. 213 of his photos are the early days of the C&TS from 1970-1975. This collection consists of 404 images in 5 galleries.

(d. 2017) lived in Pagosa Springs, CO and was an active and member of the Friends. He had 88 photos of the beginning of the C&TS railroad. This collection consists of 800 images in 1 gallery.
