Join us for the Friends 33rd Annual Moonlight and Wine Train for a truly relaxing evening on our chartered Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad nine-car consist hauled by a classic K-36 D&RGW locomotive, through the majestic San Juan mountains. There will be wine and cheese tasting while enroute, featuring award-winning wines from our New Mexico wineries. Beer and refreshments are also available.
The Moonlight train is scheduled to depart Chama Station on Saturday August 2nd, 2025, at 5:30 PM, arriving at Osier at 8pm, where dinner will be served in the dining hall. The train will consist of three premium class cars and four coach cars with a gondola and an ADA/concession car.

The mouth-watering dinner will feature:
- Bacon-wrapped petit filets with baked potato,
- Salmon with wild rice
- Seared green beans
- Fresh rolls and butter
- Assorted desserts!
The return train is scheduled to depart at 9.15 pm for the inspiring moonlit night sky return trip to Chama, arriving approximately 11:30 PM.
Ticket prices are:
- Parlor Car – Tickets may be purchased through the office
- Premium Car (2nd from the end of train) – 16 seats available, $200 per person
- Deluxe Car (3rd from the end of train) – 20 seats available, $180 per person
- Coach Cars (behind locomotive and tender) – 100 seats available, $110 per person
All tickets include the train fare, dinner, snacks, and gratuity. Seating in the Parlor, Premium, and Deluxe cars is limited and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
