Locomotive 168 Photo Charter

Here’s an opportunity to enjoy the fall color season while riding on the Cumbres & Toltec’s historic Denver & Rio Grande passenger train behind Locomotive 168. This special train will operate from Antonito to Osier and return including lunch at Osier. Plenty of photo runbys are planned and will take place enroute. This train will feature an RPO (Railway Post Office) car, two D&RG coaches and Tourist Sleeper 470 recently restored by Friends volunteers! There will be a limit of 50 passengers for this train to ensure we adhere to our photo runby schedule.

This train will depart the Antonito Depot at 8:00am MDT and return at approximately 6:00pm MDT. The price of this excursion will be $275/person which includes a 7% historic preservation fee. Snacks and water will be supplied during the trip as part of the fare. Tickets are non-refundable after July 26, 2021 unless the charter is cancelled.  This charter is sold out.  Please contact the office at 505-880-1311 if you would like to be placed on our waiting list.
